The buck stops there! Congress says Kalmadi is NDA’s choice

Common Wealth Games

Main Kaun Hu? May I know finally who selected me?

Indian politicians master the art of passing the buck and go awkward ways to save their arses. Recently, a news published by Zeenews.com stated that UPA now is blaming NDA for the appointment of Suresh Kalmadi for managing Commonwealth Games.
Sports Minister Ajay Maken has said that had the NDA not accepted to host the Games, the whole fiasco could have been avoided. He also blamed that the Host City contract should have been signed by the Delhi Cabinet, but was signed by the Union Cabinet.
Adding, he also clarified that the according to the protocol Indian Olympic Association is authorised to form the Organising Committee.
We accept all the points raised by the Minister. Since IOA is authorised to form the committee it has all the right to make the biggest crook of them as the HEAD. Also, since NDA had signed the Host City contract it was important for the Delhi Government to keep mum when the bills were getting passed, or when there was a huge hue and cry over it.
Keeping this aside, we should also understand that poor Kalmadi is suffering from Dementia ever since the day he was being probed for naming the UPA ministers involved in the scam. In fact, there have been times when we felt that he might burst out with the names of other leaders, including CM of Delhi. But then suddenly he remembered that he is suffering from Dementia!
Now the sports minister has in an indirect way commented on the capability of UPA in choosing the right leader for the event, we fear that he might realise that he is Schizophrenic.
